Covering your Care

Self Funding Patients

Offering access to affordable healthcare is key to the high quality service that is provided to all our patients at Heartsure. With competitive rates as compared to other services in the local area, we aim to provide real value when it comes to your heart health!

We are happy to accept patients who wish to self-fund all or part of their care. You can see our see schedule below, which outlines our main fees and any other associated costs which may arise through your rehabilitation with us.

With our promise to offer the very best value and quality when it comes to your heart, we also have tailored programmes to suit your needs. You can find out more about these by contacting us.

For each of your appointments, you will be sent a reminder via text or email by our Nurse specialist. Please note that fees for each session is required to be paid within 14 days of the appointment. Failure to make payments can result in postponement of your next rehab sessions.

We are able to take payments through the following methods:

• Cash   • Debit Card   • Credit Card (inc. Amex)   • Cheque   • Online Payments   • Bank Transfer

Payments can be made on the day of the appointment, and a card reader is available on site for card payments. We are happy to send you an invoice which will contain details for payments by bank transfer or online through our secure payment system provided by PayPal. Please note, if you wish to pay in cash, we do not hold any change onsite and so please bring an exact amount.

Health Insurance Coverage

At Heartsure, we want to make sure that everyone has access to our services and are able to cover their care with us how they wish. However, while we do make ourselves known to all insurance companies, there may be some who do not cover you for rehabilitation programmes, even if this is something that is recommended by your Cardiologist.

If your insurance provider does not cover you, we have listed our fees below and we are more than happy for you to cover your care with us if you wish. If you are covered, you would need to follow the steps below:

Prior to contacting us, you will need to contact your insurance provider to ensure that your policy covers you for any appointments you wish to have. You will also need to gain a Pre-Authorisation code or Claim Reference number which you will need to pass to us so that we can verify your cover.

If your GP or other healthcare provider would like to refer you to us, they can send us an email to refer you (to be sent to info@heartsure.co.uk). If you would like to refer yourself for a rehabilitation programme, you can contact us by email or phone.

Whether you have been referred by your GP or healthcare provider, or you refer yourself, you will need to indicate that you wish to use your Private Health Insurance to cover the costs of your appointments. If you already have them, you can provide your Insurance Membership or Policy Number and Pre-Authorisation Code or Claim Number as part of the referral form or during a conversation with one of our team. 

We will contact you to book an appointment for your consultation or diagnostic test, and we will confirm the following details:

 

• Your Name & Date of Birth

• Your Membership or Policy Number

• The name of your Insurance Provider

• Your Pre-Authorisation Code or Claim Reference Number

Once we have this information, you do not need to do anything else. We will contact your insurance company and sort everything directly with them, so that you can focus on your health and let us do the rest.

Billing of your appointments and diagnostic tests will be completed by us. A confirmation will be sent to you when the billing process is complete. If you have any questions regarding this, please get in touch.

Please note, if you provide incorrect information regarding your policy, or if your policy does not cover you for your appointments, then you will be responsible to cover any costs incurred from the appointments or sessions that you have completed.
